Summary

Farm Worker Farms is a project in development to create a social business enterprise and cooperative hemp farm owned and operated by farmworkers. Its mission is to empower farmworkers as owners and operators of successful farms that use organic, regenerative, and sustainable agriculture.

The project is working to establish an industrial hemp farm in California to demonstrate viability of the concept and create a model that can be replicated anywhere.

We use the successful and profitable examples of hemp farms across the country. We plan to grow and process high quality industrial hemp all-year-long to supply the rapidly expanding national hemp products market.

Farm Worker Farms uses a hybrid strategy to break out of the box that has limited the empowerment and opportunities of farm workers in the past.

The project is designed is seize the historic opportunity of the re-birth of American hemp agriculture and leverage it into ownership and economic opportunity for farm workers. This will create a model that eventually can be replicated in any area and with any crop to benefit farm workers anywhere
